Eise Eisinga Planetarium

The Eise Eisinga Planetarium Museum is located in Franeker, where you can discover the oldest working planetarium in the world! Dive into the planetarium room and discover the current status, or view the collections of historical and contemporary astronomical instruments. Furthermore, the former wool combining mill of Eisinga can be seen and there is a cinema that shows interesting documentaries. 

The museum is for young and old, where children can participate in the interactive exhibition 'Space', where they can set the earth in motion themselves. In addition to the permanent exhibitions, new exhibitions are regularly held on thematic topics related to the Planetarium or astronomy in general.
