Scherjon's Clog Museum

Scherjon's Clog Museum is located in Noardburgum, where you can discover the history of the Netherlands' oldest footwear. The Scherjon family has been making these clogs since 1840 and to this day they are still indispensable among the Frisians. The museum offers a glimpse into the workshop to see how the family, as the sixth generation of clog makers, creates this piece of cultural heritage.

The clog museum is a fun experience for both young and old. Children can do a treasure hunt through the museum, paint a clog themselves and/ or play clog miniature golf in the garden.
