Fries Museum

The Fries Museum is located in Leeuwarden and is about the Frisians and Friesland, 'abroad in the Netherlands'. In the museum you will encounter the eleven cities, the countryside, the love-hate relationship with water, the search for the typical Frisian and the place of Friesland in the world. You can also find old costumes, mineral resources from the Frisian mounds and contemporary visual art.

In short, the story of Friesland is told in the Fries Museum.
